If you want it to work with your old everybody-has-one CUCV key the lock should come apart easy enough. Take the old one apart and keep track of the wafers and where they came from. Swap the wafers in the new lock around or leave one or two out; you should be able to make it work.

Pro tip: Order the insulators that go on the bottom now so you'll have them when you're installing the new rad. You don't want to use the old ones, but if you're installing the rad and then suddenly discover you need them, you'll be faced with a choice; play fast & loose with the old ones...
