Here are some pics of an in tank failure I experienced.....

My understanding is that they are 12 volt with seperate grounds, suppling 12 volts to each batt......

Cleb, glad you made it home, I'll post some pics of the failure on my in tank pump tomorrow so you can see what I was talking about, easy for me since I pulled the tank off the truck ;)

Heads up, someone here had a problem using rustoleum primer under CARC, it caused bubbling of the CARC unless it had dried for 2 weeks? Here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=11440&highlight=carc+blistering

I'm sorry, the sarcasm wasn't obvious enough....... :roll: The Capacitor on the alternator is there to shunt any "AC" noise to ground....

Bill, I'm glad she's working out good for you, and yes, it was hard to see her go, when I registered my keeper truck, it was a toss up between your truck and the one I kept, the cooling problem, now fixed, in your truck, was the deciding factor at the time. More pics please! Ed
