I got a chuckle out of the drain plug concern. Not a bad chuckle, just a reminder. That was a very common question back when I joined 18 years ago.

I too have had an engine grenade on me. A Multifuel broke the crank in two and destroyed the block and it started righ up when I got it home. (Yes, I have a witness) It wasn't something you wanted to hear or see for that matter but it was interesting to see an engine with a two-piece crank...
I'm just curious, but did you share any of the information with the manufacturer? I live nearby by the plant and see it when I go up and down I75 frequently.

I just got a M915A1 a few months ago and drove it back to Dayton from Georgia.
I just got my battery box the way I wanted it. Only had a ratchet strap holding the cover on and the batteries were cribbed in with blocks of wood.
Awesome find. They used them on ships as well on the floor model (not green). It is how we sent Telegrams back to the states. I had to go to the Comm Center and fill out a card to sent comms back to my wife.
I had a floor model I picked up from one of my customers for quite a few years.
If you have a 24v charger just connect it to the slave cable and plug the cable into the truck port.
Make sure the polarity is correct. I'll be doing it soon myself.
