I just got a M915A1 a few months ago and drove it back to Dayton from Georgia. I just got my battery box the way I wanted it. Only had a ratchet strap holding the cover on and the batteries were cribbed in with blocks of wood.

Awesome find. They used them on ships as well on the floor model (not green). It is how we sent Telegrams back to the states. I had to go to the Comm Center and fill out a card to sent comms back to my wife. I had a floor model I picked up from one of my customers for quite a few years.

And now I get to watch over this for a little while.

Vintage or historical usually implies 25 years of age.

Use multimeter if you have a doubt. Even the cheapest Harbor Freight meter will do the trick.

If you have a 24v charger just connect it to the slave cable and plug the cable into the truck port. Make sure the polarity is correct. I'll be doing it soon myself.
