You mean like the fuel hauling truck from Mad Max: Fury Road where Charlize Theron has a sequence to start the truck? :D
All of my trucks had the chain welded to the seat base (except the 915). In all the years of having the other trucks I never used the chain except maybe once.
I had soft...
I hav3 wanted an M915A1 since I drove my buddy's truck back when we recovered it. Stock it rides hard with the Henderson Walking Beam suspension but mine has a MK15 trailer bed on it and it adds weight plus the former owner put an air ride seat in it. The best thing about the truck is that...
In general or for a particular vehicle? On my 915 it is right in the dash and although I have not had to do anything with it I kinda like it right there with the door it has. Easy to reach for sure.
You can always add a snatch block or two if you have them. An ATV one would work depending on the size of the cable. Less stress on everything except the beam carrying the load.
Old age has reduced my lifting capacity as well. Crap.
This is not a pic of mine but it shows the same number of rivets. Are you saying the grill can be removed without removing them? That I could do to replace the metal.
Much as I would like to take the grill off mine so I could replace the expanded metal where someone cut it to get to the cooler I doubt I could stand drilling out that many rivets.
But good job.
I'll add that to the list of things to work on/fix, new vlalves and gladhands on the front to air it up that way.
I already have the gladhand hoses setup for airing tires with inflator and truck to truck hoses as well.
Thanks to everyone. I'm sure there will be more posts for this truck than...
The only thing I found remotely resembling what I want said to connect at air dryer and not use a tank. I do have plugs that could be removed in the tank but screwing with the dryer makes me nervous.
Now go back to drinking your bourbon and smoking fancy cigars. Next answer.
