A while ago, I was looking at a history of Land Rovers and came across an article that talked about a trailer being powered from the power take-off on the rear of the LR's differential or axle housing via a short drive shaft connected to the trailers axle which contained a differential also...
I think thats it.. looking at your wrecker avatar, remove middle axle, leaving only front axle and farthest rear axle...wanted to see what a 2 axle deuce looked like w/ stock 12' bed..

Can any of you guys with 'photo shop' show me a bobbed deuce pic with the rear/rear axle left on instead of the front/rear axle that most folks have? Curious as to proportions with 12' bed..

I was at a Vintage Trailer Show on the tarmack of the Oakland Army Base in September of 2006 and saw this bobbed Deuce trailer near the entrance..Anyone familiar with it..

Yes, thats what I meant..Clear as mud..sorry...What I meant to say was that I looking for a genset that has a wide range of fuel choices LIKE a Deuce multifuel engine that would supply power in the 10-20 kilowatt...
I usually hang out in the Deuce forums but had a question re: multifuel (like a deuce engine) gensets. Do they even exist....say in the range of say 10-20K range..? What I'm looking at is an auto start home genset for power outages. The house is heated with home #2 heating oil and 20% biofuel...
