As cpf240 mentioned, you may want to check your injector lines. I thought I had a rear oil seal leak but it ended up being a fuel leak and it ran down the back of the engine and out the drain at the flywheel
The Thread title was M1009 Rubber Antenna Grommet so I assumed you were talking about the grommet that enters the blazer fiberglass top"1/2"+-. For your application it should be fine.
I mounted mine on top of the dash mounted radio rack in my M1009. I used an angle bracket screwed to the rack face plate than screwed it to the CB mount bracket. The CB actually rest on the dash with the mike hanging in the original radio rack slot. No mike bracket needed. Only problem is the CB...
Why were the cables missing in the first place? Did the previous owner try to convert to 12 volt? If so watch what cables you reconnect or you may burn something up.
If you don't buy it I will. They are great trucks and that one isn't even broke in yet. I bought mine in 2011 with 70,000 on it for $2600. Did some body work added accessories and have about $6,000 in it now. I drive it every chance I get "in the summer" and wouldn't trade for twice that.
That looks great. Nice job. Now that I see yours in camouflage I think ill do the same when I repaint. Where and how are you going to mount your license plates?
