New guy questions
My observations:
1 the 11.00x 20 tires will and do work well on M35 rims in dual configuration as long as your suspension parts are in good condition. I am on a 6500 mile convoy at present and I have no inner tire to suspension rubbing problem, however, off roading is a...

Emergency brake worn out
Sasquatch, you did good getting them from Jeff at Tactical Truck for $75.
I hada set relined locally and it cost me $83.00. I save all I can from parts trucks and buy new ones whenever I can cause they're so hard to find when you need them
I have the new mustache...
winch gear oil
No, they aren't level plugs. The slotted plug on the driven side of the winch is the drag brake for the drum so it doesn't free spool while you are pulling cable off with winch in Unlock mode. The bolt on the worm side, well you didn't describe it well enough. But it ain't the...
Lockout ID
They could be GM or Dodge. Quite a few civilian 1 1/2 ton to 2 1/2 ton trucks used front wheel drive from the fifties through the sixties and almost all had lockout hubs available. Count the splines and the diameter of the axle shaft and the number of mout holes and bolt cicle, then...
fuel filters
For those interested in spin-on fuel filters, I have the primary adaptors for multifuel deuces and 5 tons in stock. They are a very easy change-over, no removing the old filter base from the frame rail, along with the 2 copper lines that often seem to get bent a bit and not line up...
1008 CUCV cargo cover
Hi all, to the new guy looking for the cargo cover, I have NOS US GI vinyl cover and Canadian Military Pattern very good condition, no damage at all. It is somewhat taller than US GI issue. You need CMP bows, or extend yours. PM me for cost on either. John Tennis
The grease/oil in the Highway Digger on V18A/MTQ and M764 Auger trucks is the same consistencey of almost oil. I use it in the rear drives of the Highway Digger at my shop.
Winch oil
The level plugs are hidden when the winch is installed, so either remove the winch and open the level plugs and pump in GL1 90wt gear oil till it comes out......... Or, drain both sides, pump 1 1/2 pints in the worm gear side and 3/4 pint in the engegement side. JT
OA-331
I have loved my gas powered deuces since I got the first one. They have more power, are quieter, steer easier, and go faster than the multifuel powered deuces. And now gas is cheaper than diesel. Reos Rule
torque specs
No trouble with you sticking with the written word. .010 it is. I will continue to adjust my intakes to .015". I didn't make this number up and I would rather have them right there. Too tight sucks
M109A3 haul
My state of NY and your state of Minnesota have 13' 6" height laws.
I own 2 M109A3s and you will be too high on any deck over wheels trailer. You can let the air out of all 10 tires and you will be close to legal. All of the air.
You can't get an over height permit for your...
