Did they ever make a 16.5 budd rim that fits the Dodge M37/WC axles? Just wondering because with all the new, nicely priced HUMMV tires floating around they would be nice under a M37.. If never build I would consider cutting out the centers on some one piece 16.5 880 rims and building some.
Taking over 319's spot
I am traveling down with a friend that has tons of 900 series parts among other stuff. If you are looking for something specific PM me and I will rummage through his 53' semi trailer full. I also have lots of M37, and Dodge WC stuff I could bring. I am in the market for...
I ordered one of them and we will see if I can make it work. I also have my boat mechanic friend checking on some light weight epoxy by West system g/flex. I will let you know how I make out. I MUST find a remedy to this issue or else I will end up with a whole bunch of paper weights laying...
So has anyone found a replacement float for these engines? Or what is best to seal the float with? I am having all kinds of trouble with swelling floats. Motor starts and runs like a watch then floods out or starves out depending on what took place. I am open to any and all suggestions.
I had that problem with one truck here and the Museum truck had a real bad problem with that. You would be driving down the road and the truck turned into a Christmas tree.
This problem could also be the firewall connections. Pull that apart and inspect for corrosion and broken pins. It will make all kinds of ghosts appear in your truck..
Every time I read doghead's post I can clearly hear his voice and laugh. I then picture him brush hogging rigor mortis horse legs for some reason???? Anyone else have that story stuck in there head? Well it was a bad move for sure but at least you did not burn the truck to the ground.
Man I am liking this! Can you post some more pictures and details on how you did it? Is that a Kabota blower off a tractor? You have my attention and two brain cells throwing sparks!
**** Scrounger Hobbit hoarders! That is 319 in my avatar in case nobody noticed.. lol.. So what ya got for sale? PM me a list with your normal inflated prices.
It is adjustable using the threads on the pressure relief valve near the compressor head. Basically the other valve on the carburetor end is a plunger that idles down the carb when the other valve opens releasing pressure. The B bracket is hooked to the throttle linkage on the carb for the...
Yes the starter with a slave is the way to go. Pull starting these motors can be difficult at times. Here are some pictures of the setup on mine. I had to rebuild it the compressor had been tipped over and it was all busted up. I could use some measurements for the belt guard if you have time...
Well if that burner never lights I am interested.
Sam I will take some picture tomorrow of the setup on mine also. If this monsoon ever lets up! We can compare notes. The starter burnt up on mine so I quit using it. Tried to get it rebuilt and the guy had it for 2 months and said he...
What's the guy asking for it? Don't get me wrong I don't hate the trucks. It is a typical
"Is what it is" scenario. Here is the typical conversation when trying to sell one. " So no power steering?? Why?? So it's full time 4x4?? Does it have that junky NP203 transfer case? Probably doesn't get...
