the support bracket you cannot miss... It is a 1X2 piece of box tube running up the middle of the windshield(just off the left side of your picture). if you look close at the top of windshield and the bottom all the way forward on the dash right in the middle of the cab, you will see the 2...
Well if you want multiples you might be better off fabbing. Since you are hopefully not dodging bullets, you could fab it out of far lighter/less expensive steel especially once you consider shipping these heavy items IF you can find more than one…
Yea thats how I am planning mine, evap in front of the recirc port with a drip pan and drain. All inside a vented center console that will make a little better use of that space between the seats…
Is the AC you are talking about DC powered, and if so what voltage?
have you gone thru the main ground straps, they are junk from manufacture With a layer of paint in the middle… strip them all to bare metal, throw away the star washer and re-assemble with dilectric grease or copperkote, then...
Look at Ebay for Allison Throttle Position Sensor… have not come up with an alternative yet but have been looking as that IS an important part of how the TCU determines it’s shifting behavior.
there is a performance teans company that has some TPS’s used to interface their controller to a...
That is also assuming everything else in the system is up to spec like primary fuel delivery, injector performance, boost/turbo performance, wastegate control and system integrity(boost leakage and intercooler efficiency/passages clear)...
i routed my breather line outside the frame as mine had made quite a mess of the plumbing and wiring inside the drivers frame rail with supposedly only 8500MI on the truck... The larger the flow the larger the surface area/volume needed to condense/settle the vapor out of the stream. it...
I think you will probably be very happy with the eco's... the only people who have done both that i am aware of are the ones who already had the 3.07(6.14 final ratio) before the eco's were created and did not want to, or go thru the hassle to revert(diff swap is a LOT of work). Both together...
On a wtec2 the tcu is in the drivers dash with the control pad. You should get clicks under the passenger dash as the Vehicle Interface Module is located there and it is filled with relays like Neutral start, reverse warning center diff-lock ect.
if you have a transmission display, have you...
Bad seals, overhaul it… i replaced mine with a prince hand pump that and a second valve will get you a far simpler, more reliable and faster system for cab and spare…
The scavenge clog didn’t help any in getting the heat to the cooler, but the crap and damage in the C6 clutch is probably where the heat was coming from(partly engaged), basically trying to engage 1st along with whatever other gear you were in… the wispy fibrous material in your strainer pic...
Y0ur bracket is bent. Light is terrible for me to get a pic of mine but it is straight along the red line seen in this pic… take it off put it in a press and push it where the long arrow is seen, you want to have it flatter where the small arrow is seen.
basically when installed the bracket...
and if i were putting in an electric i would put it back there and set it up for the front/rear pull like a FOERS winch. Cable runs to the battery are way shorter back there...
the thermostatic valve only routes oil to the aux cooler when the temps returning from the primary cooler are warm enough to warrant it. yes, take that thermostat valve out of the system completely with only the transmission to-from ports connecting forward to the primary cooler...
the issue is that for the parts you found in the strainer to exit the P6 housing, they have to chew their way thru the clutch pack and splined aluminum housing/cover, with the aluminum housing being the weakest link...
here are some of the discussions on this with lots of excellent pics...
