Yea the manual-auto lockup programming might help, you hold it down into 2nd, or even use it in 1st gear for a little more effective hill decent mode. Just need a reliable way to release it before you take the engine below idle RPM…
You can always launch it. Stand on the brake, stand on the gas, when you ramp up to peak torque you should have plenty of boost, release the brake and let the magic happen:)
On the WTEC2 there is a manual lockup program option, used for oilfield I think. Auto-manual switch and engage-disengage switch. I suspect there is something similar in the wtec3 programming. That might get you some better slow speed ex brake performance, but you would have to be sure to...
it tells you if you have enough electrolyte in the battery cells of a wet cell battery. Since they didn't put the batteries on a tray it can be difficult to check electrolyte level visually, so some bright light came up with this thing.
Remove cap, insert tip in hole, look for red LED...
have a clean place to strip out the filter and clean the filter and housing frequently.. in my experience ash is very easily transferred so pay careful attention to not allowing it to get into the engine feed pipe when you remove the filter. You might even go so far as to start out by cleaning...
A pair of 5A noco’s would work great, just hook one to the appropriate + - posts of one inner/inboard and one outer/outboard(farthest from the frame) battery.
would highly recommend dropping to just 2 batteries in series if you have not already done so. The battery-alternator size mismatch is...
The one started by the creator when he introduced them. Page 36, post #710… and I did remember correctly, 123&10 are off, the rest are on…, that from Mike the creator of the ecohub… look closely at the dip switch, they are numbered and usually indicate the on or off position of the...
Noco, or victron. We haveca couple nocos at work, i like them…
The noco dual outputs are isolated and can hook up in series, one -output gnd and the + output to 12. And the second output - to 12v and + to 24v. This will compensate for any vampire loads and float both to proper charge levels...
I haven't found too much schematic info on the aux cooler plumbing, what i know i have gleaned from pics and discussions with those who have deleted or modified.
basically you have an output and an input line on the right side of the trans. These connect to a thermal mixing valve with an...
“Mostly they made mining and rail equipment” … and it shows:)
Oooh I like the dash hood, never noticed that before, may have to make one of those for mine…
Yea,I havn’t seen anything like that in any of my wanderings thru the drawings… ecm fan control feeds the fan solenoid and the aux fan relays in parallel/simultaneously via the fan override switch.
one thing the ECU may do is be predictive and roll on the fan earlier than 205 based on rate of...
Another option is to make a flat plate one that lays flat on the dash with a curved front that extends out to almost touch the windshield. The gap you leave determines airflow, or you could even make triangle or half round passages on the edge, to form air ”nozzles”.
Plenty of room beneath a...
