    Glow Plug Removal

The worst one is number 8. One closest to the driver. No room at all and that is one I had fight with. Dont forget to put some copper never-seize on the plug threads. I much much prefer the Cummins system as a single unit that heats the air in the intake. Simple, effective and easily worked on...

    Glow Plug Removal

Has happened to me. The tip can snap off and if you pull the injector you should be able to grab it from the inside using needle nose pliers then using a small punch to tap it in from the outside. I came up with an idea to use a cotton ball to put into the pre-cup under the plug tip to catch it...

    Let's talk about HMMWV paint

Mine is holding up great after four years now. Slight fading but only noticeable when you touch up. She stays out in my lot so no shade. I have a Mason jar I keep in the truck and just had to add two teaspoons of pure white to the paint to have it more accurately match the color on the truck...

    using behr on firearms

Getting it to stick properly may be a big issue. You want to paint this on plastic and not a wooden stock right. If you paint a wooden stock I will have to go to church and light a candle for you. Lol Mark

Installed a tire pressure monitor system but.....

You need to remove all the air and fill it with pure nitrogen to make the tires safe. If you go along with that then you're in luck. I have this nice bridge for sale with a price so low it should be criminal. You could install a toll both and make a fortune. Mark

    1994 M1123 won’t start. Please help!

You really should not use ether on the Hmmwv motors. It will work but you will be playing with fire. Mark

On the hunt for a gas turbine!

If you are looking for a powerful litte compact turbine that you can setup with an afterburner I would seriously look at the Boeing 502 line. Very compact and puts out some good thrust. With an afterburner you can get close to 300lbs of thrust. I've wanted one for years. Mark A&P

    Talk to me about horns

All the parts are available on a popular auction site. The compressor is a Extreme Outback Air Compressor. Two come in a aircraft fuel transfer unit and they are super well made and flow a massive amount of air for their size. For the brake air tank just search for military brake air tank...

    Talk to me about horns

The HMMWV has a terrible horn for the street. This winter I'm installing a 24v compressor (aircraft fuel support) along with an air tank and horns for a 5 ton. Mark

    Turret hole enhancement ideas

The sunroof idea is interesting and as far as an emergency hatch, explosive bolts would be wild lol It would be like a spacecraft. Mark

    Batteries

One thing to remember when using dual batteries it is imperative that they must be of the same age and model. If not then one of those batteries will have less potential than the other so inevitably one battery will be overcharged and the other undercharged. As already stated when installing...
