Exploring my options and trying to save myself at least one trip to Portsmouth, VA... Any one able to go over and pick up a lot of 750x16 tires (14 of them) for me next week and either hold on to them for a short while or convey them over to Blake Sheppard's place? The tires have to be removed...

The short answer is that you can replace it with a tube with (or without) a filter on it... That complex bit is really just a tub with a filter around it... My M37 with the Cummins 4BT has a modified pickup in the tank that is just a rigid tube (piece of brake line) with a generic sick filter...

Conny's posts are a great reminder that we have lots and lots of space so bring whatever you want to sell/trade/donate... There is no extra fee for vending or for taking up an acre or two of space for all your vehicles and gear... :)

Considering that the tent we use as a HQ during the event has the flaps for using these ducts, and I have heaters with no ducts (no A/C unit though...), bring them and I will take them off your hands. May not use them during the event, but I know that I can put them to good use at other times...

As mentioned above, as long as the valves are in good shape, you can go down the road with the PTO spinning the pump and it will be ok...but you are putting a bit of faith in the system and adding a lot of wear to things. The linkage setup that controls the dump up/down/hold function is combined...

I'm actually loading stuff into the M146 this Friday and hauling it up to Graves... :)

I wasn't going to go there...but I was thinking it... :) That is one benefit of my having the rally at the family farm...we do have a bunch of recovery vehicles and that fully equipped heavy equipment shop (and a bunch of M37 owners on hand to assist...).

The nice thing is that if you bring it to the Graves Mountain trailrides it will fit right in with the rest of the M37s... :)
