Did you try to cross the wires on the relay? Personally, I see no advantage to doing the relay change. Good Luck. Hot wire the relay and see what happens. It is hard to help when the system has been hacked.

Back in the day my M1009 engine would get a bit dusty, and I would just use the old pressure washer. I checked and kept the oil full and it never gave me any issues. One thing that was great about the dust was it made oil leaks easy to locate. A dry...
Check the resistor under the hood on the metal heater box housing. See if you have electric to that wire. Also, under the dash 1 wire I believe orange runs off the switch harness and supplies current to the switch. Make sure that is hot. How did you rule out the switch on the fan motor. It can...
I would like to see a side-by-side comparison of these mounts. Back when I was pioneering replacement parts for CUCV's I used the parts as examples and did side by side comparisons and fit to come up with a part and part number that fit. I also tested it hard over the years. Here is what I found...
Why wouldn't they? The wet coolant makes contact with the sensor, completes the circuit and the light goes out. What am I missing here? Stop the fear of everything that is aftermarket is taboo. At this point in the game if aftermarket parts were not available most of the CUCV's would be here.

Tell me the difference. Just so I know. The CUCV uses 1983 K5-30 350 gas engine motor mounts has been my experience.
Looks good. Fire it up. One thing I always do is put a flat washer on the inner adjustment slot right behind the P/S bracket. That way when you tighten the adjustment nut it makes square 360-degree contact on a flat surface, and you are not pressing a hex nut pattern into the back side slide...
I would remove the wire at the radiator low coolant sensor and crimp the connection lightly. It may be a bit loose and making intermittent contact with the switch. that is after you visually check and make sure the coolant is full. Good Luck.
#16. This sensor is readily available.
25 years ago I needed a new diesel fuel gauge for a CUCV and this was all I could buy. I tried several times to get the OEM style and could not. I was at a GM dealer that I dealt with for many years and that is all they could get me. That gauge is in the Easter Find M1008 that I rebuilt about 8...
DB2 Fuel Injection Pump for 6.2L 6.5L 6.9L 7.3L 5.7L – Diesel Care & Performance
I used this service at least 50 times in the past 25 years. They emailed me a ship label I bagged the pump and sent it back. It came back in a week or 2 and it was always done right. Not sure what happened with...

Check it out. I have been using the Energy Suspension mounts. The box with the part number is in the pictures. Good Luck. Be Safe.
