Hey wait, I want a cinnamon bun!

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

You might think it a noob clue, but there is no such thing. Observation is observation… Ok, the only relay indicators that would flash with Hazard or turn are the trailer light relays that switch 24v to power commercial 24v trailer lighting, K30 and K31. You say the green LEDs flash but does...

Cab lift and spare tire cylinder replacement

Strength would be a bigun… the rod end side of the piston(side used to lift the tire) has ~ 2.36 sq/in of surface area. It takes ~2200PSI to lift the tire, so that is 5,183# of force from the cylinder to lift the tire…

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

Ok, as mentioned, grounding, or light sw, or flasher unit, or TS switch on the column Or hazard sw in the dash as it provides all power to the flasher… next time it happens note if relay K9 is energized or de-energized. It gets its power from the light switch via CB74 and it provides the power...

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

When the TS don't work, does the hazard switch turn on flashers?

Left side floor ribs in and welded.

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

@Primussucks thinking about this a little further the behavior you described leads me to believe that filler plug you show a picture of is not vented, if it is pushing fluid out the gap between housing and reservoir. if the pump and reservoir are designed to handle a certain amount of...

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

only if everything continues to work perfectly. Any air leakage around the control or the rod end when it pulls a vac will mess with you. Thats why hydraulic systems are typically not designed to rely upon vacume, and only positive pressure displacement…

    R model FMTV Schematics

The A1R uses data bussed gauges driven by a box called the MMDC, so adding another gauge would be difficult. You would probably have better success switching between two separate tank level senders... This sender switch function is usually incorporated in the tank switching function on...

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

2" piston has an area of 3.1416 sq/in. 35cu/in = only 11 inches of cylinder travel.... Now if the rod end has fluid in it returning to the reservoir as the cab raises, that should give you enough fluid to lift the cab. Depending on the pump internal plumbing and seals, as you lower the cab...

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Ok, back to the first question, what is the pump reservoir capacity/volume?

No power to cab accessory outlet

    Cool!

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Well if the vent is clear working , any overflow should be coming from there, not where the pump body meets the reservoir…. Take it completely off and try it…

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

What is the volume of the pump reservoir does the pump have an air vent/filler port? That is what PP was getting at, the oe pump does not have a vent either as the plumbing directs fluid to the hand pump up to about 5 psi to keep it full, then sends the rest to the air op reservoir which IS...

No power to cab accessory outlet

There is a page elsewhere in the diagrams that has a more detailed PDM1 diagram that should show the connector and pin for 12v batt in and out. Like the drawing pic you posted shows that accessory output connector and pin, P101-E.

    Windshield washer nozzle replacement

I am thinking that access is more like accessing the wiper linkage. Since it is in the front skin, It is forward of the dash, heater and power panel assemblies.

No power to cab accessory outlet

well power in and no power out, the pipe is broken somewhere... The earlier versions of those PDM's like the VIM in the A0 trucks was a traditional circuit board with bonded circuit runs between the solder points. Never seen inside a new one, looks much more robust. Thanks for the peek.

No power to cab accessory outlet

I wiird a car stereo onst… I can handle this:) perhaps someone put in a no-blow fuse, and cooked off the solder run on the circuit board in PDM1 associated with CB-84?

    Where is this accessory port?

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

I am NOT welding on the main chassis frame. I have disconnected the upper 6” secondary frame rail huck bolt joiner plates from the main 8-3/4 chassis frame rail(plates still attached to upper frame will serve as alignment guides). I am converting that upper rail into the floor structure for my...
