Oooh, that's sad. They were Unimog 411's at some point. You might be able to buy all three and make 3/4 of one. Rock-crawlers won't be buying those axles for $1500. They are no where near as strong at the 406/416 or 1300 axles and wouldn't hold up to the abuse of big tires...

If I had a big modern turbo-diesel dually and goose-neck trailer with at least 2 axles and electric brakes, I'd haul one. I'd rather haul one with a medium duty like a F550/650. I wouldn't want to flat tow one anywhere except across the yard...
So, did anyone sleep in a tent or did everyone just pass-out around the fire in their folding chairs? :)
