Sigh... Now that everything has been explained in detail (along with photos), I have no excuse to not go out and fix the valve on the dump and wrecker...
Perhaps I can talk AMGeneral into making a house call since I also need to "debirdcage" the cable on the rear winch of the wrecker...
The Budd number for them is 37888 right side (right hand thread) and 37889 left (left hand thread) using the table that I have on my website (the info listed is for a M37, but the M37 used the same lugnuts that you find on a M35 or M88, etc.
Note: The Lug Nuts are 3/4"-16 thread. Use a one...
If you mix one part of Rust Oleum Hunter Green with one part Leather Brown, you will get a color that is a dead on match to 24087 (early seventies version)... I've painted several trailers this way and have been very pleased (no chips/facing in eight or so years, except from dragging stuff out...
It's a pretty simple process that actually is explained on the DMV's website... If you're still having issues, send me a PM (or search for some of my previous posts about obtaining a title in NC) and I'll walk you through the process.
I used to use International Tire and Tube in Texas, but they seem to have disapeared... :(
I noticed that my local Agri-Supply has bias ply 900x16 tubes in stock, I assume that the Southern States Co-Op (I got my 900x16 Grip Spurs there) does as well...
I have several good, used, 900x16...
I didn't take many photos (never got out on the trails myself, too much other stuff to take care of during the weekend. I did get tot take the XM708 around the orchard roads and up the highway some though... I've got some silt in the fuel tank so I need to install another filter in-line before...
We've been socializing, and driving already... Hate to hear that some folks are having to drop out who planned on comming (hope you get better real soon D., take care of her Don...). Zoltan made it up from Raleigh about an hour ago...driving his stock M37 all the way.
Thanks to Bob, I now...
Hate I didn't see this earlier... One of the guys comming to the VA rally this weekend is from NJ and we could have gotten it hauled back at least that far...
Unless we can talk Neil or Brandon into comming up to the rally since it's now too late to get it to me for a ride up since I'm headed...
If you can't make it down for the entire weekend (we understand, it is a busy time), drive on down for a few hours... Drop by on Saturday night and join us for BBQ and conversation...
You don't have to bring your MV...
Long term: We have this event every year on the same weekend, at...
I use four chains, cross them (right front of truck to left front of trailer, etc.). I don't use the little tab half way up the frame (located sorta between the cab and bed), but use the lifting shackles...
A DMV issue (at least in my neighborhood) is to not have chains attach at the same...
If you can hold off until you come to Raleigh, I'll show you both of my sandblasters and will tell you the pros and cons of each and why I invested the way I did... :)
One is a blast cabinet, the other is a pressure pot. Neither was very expensive...
My gas powered Ingersoll-Rand unit came...
The trailrides and rally are almost here :)
I'll be on site Wednesday night so that I can put up signage and open some gates before folks start to roll in on Thursday.
Even though the website has a registration deadline on it, you can still drop in and register at the gate (although we won't...
Welcome!
If you've got some time this comming weekend and want to meet some other folks who hang out on this forum (and others), we're having a gathering (trailrides and rally) in Syria, VA (22743)...
There is a thread over in the events section concerning the event at...
Just thought that I would hop on and remind folks who are comming who have cb's to bring them. After the last couple of years, it looks like they are the most commonly owned radios that we can use for trail comunications.
Meanwhile, other than Ferro's and my routes up to the rally, I'm...
Good to hear that you are going to grab Neil as you drive up... He and I had a great ride up from Danville last year...
I think that I am going to ride up on Wednesday (or earlier...) so that I can get things like the signs up and the back gate to the field open before folks start to arrive...
To add just a little more light reading FYI on the tools themselves (since the rack has been well covered by the other posts...):
Pioneer Tool Rack and Tools
Since the question has been answered... I'm just going to say that I'm also in Raleigh with both M37's and M809 series trucks in the yard... :) In case you want to take a gander at them... :)
I'm amphilbilous...so I can use both hands... :)
I'm at Graves as I type this (on the office computer while my fried rainbow trout dinner digests...), so whenever you get here, I'm here... It's hot enough that we may not do much heavy cutting, just trimming and GPS'ing...
Nope,
