DANG it all - you fellas just threw in some heavy hitter vehicles - I will have to go see my mental therapist again - at first I thought I had this ole poll just figured out.
nopics Nattileather - post up a pic with that explanation again - trying to figure this K out without a factual reference to go by is worthless - PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING so to speak - bring it on big guy.
piss on the engine stuff - I just wanna see those cool upholstered seats sitting in the K - they do not even have to be mounted - the engine stuff will just all work out in the end - just gotta have some faith bro.
#17 was on all three rear sides. It was in the exact spot to the lower left of the 3rd Army insignia. Numbers were in Fed Yellow and roughly 4 inches tall. Both side numbers washed off quickly but I saw them - the rear was on with thicker paint and I was able to catch a pic of that before that...
Ya know - after I got that primer on the jeep last night it was about 5:45 and I kept looking back at the 37. But its kinda like the K and WC - you just never know what's underneath it all and I do not want to be rushed and stupidly missing something because of it - so I had to keep backing off...
McNair Kaserne
A cold war look at the former home of the 32nd Signal Battalion, the 201st Signal Company, the 17th Signal Battalion, and some other groups.

If you start searching back in the pics you'll see it cause I took pics of it - I also have all saved for future references which will go on a CD an send to PB.
Quickie my butt - couple things just need to be done besides what the owner wants - just would not be proper.
Into 2k bare metal primer tonight - front grille is what I am talking about - might as well make a custom grille out of it seeing as he is cheap and I get a free pass to do what I want...
AHHH take that crappy squid paint off it for one :)
If there is another layer of that squid mopped paint on it - get rid of that as well.
Ferro just wants it cleaned up and looking pretty (thinkin pink here) but nothing fancy or resto looking - just get a nice mover he can still pound mud with.
For my 5 ton this week - I went all out and splurged.
It has been over a year taking her out camping waiting on Titles and registration here in Georgia as some of you might know.
August 1st weekend I made camping reservations at Stone Mountain Park to take the 4 grandsons out camping once...
When all surface is prep'd along with any bare metal surfaces use a 2K bare metal primer - that is your first layer of protective primer.
IF - you have imperfections in the surface @pits lay at least one coat of HIGH BUILD 2k primer on top of this. The bare metal primer does not get sanded...
Couple odd ball screws to cut off yet that have no business being there.
The Grille - the verticle slats at the bottom are smashed in from what I would guess would have been a winch mounted and welded onto the front bumper. I have all the excess welds cut off and ground down along with the...
Wild Dog got delivered last night and some other stuff for that jeepy - when the storm hits the 37 outta be rollin right along - it is a great looking 37 and should be 2k pounds lighter with all that paint off it (not counting Ferro's mud heap).
I really do appreciate all the kind input about the work done - but there are fellas out there that restore them to perfection and I appeciate their quality of work just as well.
To name a couple off the top of the list is TWM - Clinto - those fellas working on the tanks (very cool) and my...
Prepare all parts by soaking in oil overnight - then
The cylinder thingy connects to the pin thingy
The pin thingy connects to the rod thingy
The rod thingy connects to the oblong thingy
The up and down thingies connect to the threaded thingies[thumbzup]
Not ready to fully start on the 37 yet - but she is close. I gotta get that Jeepy thing done and out of the garage so I can pull his in after getting it fully washed down. But - here is the proud owner that just loves this 37 and let's see how much bigger of a smile he has with the same pic...
Amoungst the group Saturday when CAMO was picking up the K-18 it took some time for me to let it "sink" in of what PB said.
Within the world of MV's the K-18 has to be on the top of the list for being of of the rarest military trucks in existence.
Along with some postings I have made over on...
OK - after PB and CAMO crew left I pondered for a while and decided just to go cause by buddy that sells the detail stuff was there - went over and popped some fuel on the Joker and headed up.
DO not go off on me because this is only my perspective and second hand info from others that were...
