PS, I had oil spewing out the shift tower of my deuce on the drive homoe from buying it. Turns out water had run down the shift lever where it sat outside without a top for who knows how long. The tranny got hot on the highway, the water boiled and forced oil out around the seal. Might not be...
Great story on selling your deuce to Cappa! I am a JP fan as well even though I sold my CJ7 in the 90's! Now all we need is Cappa and Hazel to show up at some SS Rallies! Maybe slip the SS name in the JP mag a few times for us :D How 'bout it Mr. Editor?!
Hey Monty,
I'm just down the road from you so if you ever need a hand turning wrenches, shoot me an email. Looks like you'll be taking 3 to make 2 so you'll be busy. You could always bob the parts truck.
Now, let's see what you got!
Thanks Jason!
By the way, if anyone needs a very professional and reasonable trucker to haul their MV, call:
Joe Jackson
Agent, Titan Transport

He was super nice to work with and did a great job getting the truck home. My local wrecker guy, Bobby from Jack Jr. Towing, was great...

Kenny, I'll do whatever I can to get it done in time for the convoy. I need to get a parts list...
Time to let the 5-ton out of the bag. :D
Most of you know that I sold my Mog a while back to free up some cash for a commuter car. Well, the OD Addiction got the best of me and I decided to sell my Dodge truck to get a new MV! I'll be buying a 80's diesel beater pick-up for my daily driver...
Re: RE: trailer box to bed swap?

Never seen it done fcfred, but that doesn't mean you can't be the first. Why are you considering doing this? If it is because you bed is mangled or rotted off, you could always get a civi one and spray-bomb it.
I had 6 swelled and stuck plugs in my '84 when I got it. I used a "cat's paw" prybar under the hex head to apply GENTLE upward pressure while turning the plug with a socket. The hardened threads of the head cut into the tip of the plugs and screwed them out. I got them all out without breakage.
