The lens on my speedo is glass. Lighter fluid is great for dissolving adhesive. That said, a new speedo is only $70 plus shipping. EDIT: I checked today and my lens is not glass it is plastic.

This weekend drove 1200 miles in 18 hours round trip to pick up a new transmission for the HMMWV. 4L80 and 242 transfer case. I've collected many of the other parts for the conversion and pretty much just needed the transmission and transfer case.

The problem is the 16.5 in a 37" tire. There are no good road options unless you change to a 17" rim.

Measure the circumferance of the tires, if they are the same or very close it will be fine. Different tire manufactures can size tires differently and call them the same. Example, a 37" tire might be 36.5" at one manufacture and 37.4" at another. The 36.5" has a circumference of 114.6" while...
