Holy Moley PB - I had a call from Drew my house alarm and garage alarms were going off so I had a couple minutes before I could skip out of work to head home - got home and cops all over the place along with your Sheriff buddy - someone must have bumped the garage door stripping your K-18 down...

Tin - lights mount into the back wall at the bottom - hole on right & left bottom. The L brackets are inside and attached to the back channel I replaced - then the lights protrude and nearly flush with the back wall (kinda like how a jeep light mounts on the back).
Try to get started on the cab...
While you tac and stitch weld in a replacement - you can use a heat sink welder product to surround the area so the heat does not make things worse or distort surrounding metalwork -just a thought. Do not be in a hurry tacking and stitch welding - take your time and make sure stuff is cooling...

NO reason to get off point for the sake of the OP. Sealing the weld can be done by 2K bare metal primer and do not put POR on it nor etching primer. This process will outlive almost all of us if done right.

Thanks Csm - I am sure if the OP can patch in an underlaying piece of metal and get it secured in place with a good weld CUCV is offering up it will work fine - if I were to do it it would be the same process instead of throwing in the towel. But it does have to be properly done and not just...

By the way and seeing some are uninformed:
During crash circumstances, windshields also play a vital role in the structural integrity of the vehicle. In front-end crashes the windshield provides stiffness and rigidity, which helps keep the car from crushing on impact, and protects the bodies of...
4 springs for the regulators arrived yesterday - other 4 are back ordered and will ship when they come in.
Get these rear windows set aside till the felt inner channel seals arrive. Get onto the box wiping it down and see about getting some final coats of paint on it.
Couple pieces in the cab...
Duh - beg your pardon: Why your windshield is important to the structural integrity of a car - FMVSS ... Collision ...
If the rusted section is wide enough - you could insert a repair section to the inside - form it first and tack it in - then do a full stitch weld - then use a product like...
Windshields are a structural part of the body - integrity strength.
I am surprised he installed one after the old was out - never really know till the old is out anyhow.
