    M925a2 Power Surge

The engine you will be getting has a lift pump on it, if it is common rail, that's something I forgot about that will need to be trade out for a 24v one. The pump stops running after a few mins and the gear pump on the back of the HP pump does all of the work after that.

    DFW M923 mechanic needed

Air it up and get out the spray bottle with soapy water. Why pay someone for possibly an easy fix. How slow is the leak?

    M925a2 Power Surge

The pressure filter on the engine will be fine, just make sure you install a good rock catcher filter. And stay with Fleetguard filters. And, I think you can go to 450 HP with that engine.

    M925a2 Power Surge

I remember the old 1710s running on NG and being used for cogen to heat the water in hotels. There are a couple of different types of NG fired engines, CNG and LNG. CNG is vapor, LNG is in a liquid form at like -200 degrees in the tank and is then converted to vapor to run. Wectport/Cummins...

    M925a2 Power Surge

There is a 12L made too. These actually work very good. Rated at 400-450 hp. They will pull down to 1200 RPM and chug along all day. Swift and a few other OTR companies use them, very little issues with them

    M925a2 Power Surge

Natural gas fired. They are rated at 320 hp and 2700 rpm. Has spark plugs, no yellow wires tho . They are used in transit buses and garbage trucks. They run good for a few thousand miles in buses, then they get an overhaul 'cause the pistons crack. Garbage trucks do OK, I think it's the...

ISL G, they are all the rage! Then he'd be green AND clean, The libtards would want to incorporate this mod into every tactical vehicle around. See your future, be your future. Same footprint, it will bolt right in.

    Air pack rebuilding question

IIRC, the TM is incorrect. It shows a seal being installed backward. It has been ages since I did one but have done 10+ of them. I had the same issue with the first due to the TM directions. I think Recovery4x4 was the one that turned me on to the issue, maybe he will see this and post up.

Hopefully it works out for ya. You will not put the miles on it that the average leasing company or private LTL, delivery guy does.

    Cummins 2.8 Repower ??

OK, 3200. What does the 6.2 turn? Usually the RPM/Road speed ratio is 3 mph to 100 RPM, sometimes, 200 per 100, so, if the 6.2 is a 3600 rated RPM engine, that means 9 to 12 MPH slower, plus the aftertreatment crap. From first hand experience, the aftertreatment crap is the killer, it is a...

    Cummins 2.8 Repower ??

ISF cm2250. Remember, most inline engines only turn 2500 rpm, so you would lose road speed unless you re gear. Also, it is new technology, it will cost more than the CUCV is worth and, it will require all the aftertreatment stuff, DOC, DPF and SCR.

    m931a2 emergency shut off issue

Pretty much as stated above. The pull in part of the solenoid circuit will not pull in until the starter is engaged. When the button is released, the hold in voltage takes over. You should still check all of the B+ and grounds. Grounds need to be well below .5 ohms. Cummins says 10 ohms is...
