    NHC 250 No start-fuel problem

The hard part of doing this on the truck, like has been done here, is the weight alignment onto the tang on the governor plunger. It is tough enough doing on a bench. Honestly, this type of repair should be left to a shop, it's a simple, inexpensive repair, but the possible outcome is not worth...

    NHC 250 No start-fuel problem

So, you took it apart from the rear forward? Wow, lots easier to remove four capscrews! The issue might be that you didn't get the gov weights on the plunger correctly. If you installed the housing with the weights in the position shown in the pic, one of the weights is pushing the plunger all...

    NHC 250 No start-fuel problem

Yes, IF the throttle stop was moved, the holes won't line up with the drilling in the housing, but, it might start with the pedal depressed. Do the bucket thing first so you know if the gear pump is working. I might be an assembly issue.

    NHC 250 No start-fuel problem

Sooo, you had a running truck and took he pump off and apart to repair a throttle shaft leak. the pump was reassembled and now zero delivery? Did you remove the stop from the throttle shaft? Try running it directly from a bucket and see if it lights. If not, take the fuel inlet fitting off and...

Can the 8.3 run with bad lift pump?

They usually will not start w/o a working lift pump, the fuel pump needs a minimum low pressure to make the high pressure for it to start and run. The biggest issue is the overflow valve. ( http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?140259-M939A2-Adjustable-return-fuel-check-valve ), there is a...

M939A2 Adjustable return fuel check valve.

That looks like the old style one. The newer ones don't have a ball in the end. They have a, well, bolt if you will in the end sealed with a washer. the pop of pressure is around 30 psi.

NTC 350 Turbo VT50 Rebuild kit?????

I forgot to mention something, the solenoids will need to be changed out to 24vdc ones. the automotive 350 was most likely a 12 volt engine.
