I agree emmado. The heavy trailer in the back is a wreck for sure to happen. Exspecialy without all the brakes working together. Not even going to attempt it. I will pull one and store it somewhere and go back and get the second one.
Ok guys.. Heading to Chambersburg PA tonight.. Anybody want to meet me there Thursday the 30th in the AM and pull a trailer out to a safe spot until I can come back and get it? I am for sure pulling the kitchen trailer home. Not sure what to do with the ammo trailer yet? Anybody close that I can...
Did anybody watch those M49A2Cs !!!! both are over 20k!!!! WTF
I saw that T case Kenny.. Worst case she goes in the scrap pile and you make a little.. Wonder if its rebuilt?
Can anyone pick thes up on Thursday the 30th and haul them to a place where they have the facility to load them on a standard semi flatbed? I dont think its a good idea to pick up a Kitchen trailer from the front on the toung. Ammo trailer no problem.. Sounds like damage issues to me..
Well Hmmmm ! Detroit! Didnt know that!! We better check into a tank of somekind with a fully operational 50 cal on top.. Maybe some claymores for a safe perimeter.. :grd:
I have thought of this Bruce. Hoping some SS member steps up to help..Not sure who is near by other than Westfolk, But no bites yet.. :D On most of my other pick up sites they just loaded them with a fork truck. But Tactical say they dont have one with big enough forks. If they can not load them...
Do you have a number for the guy on site? I would like to chat with him directly if I can. The gal at the main site is nice but I think I need to talk to the guy at the Chambersburg site if I can.. I dont want to get a trucker there and have no way of getting them on the trailer.
Yes Kenny it was very nice to see some youth interested in the BIG green stuff. armytruckgirl you just let me know when your Dad is ready with the check for your 5 ton and we will find you the truck.. :P
Remember you could get a exspansable 5 ton and have a place to live when you go off to...
Ok Jeff. That would help me. So they dont have a loading dock to back a regular semi trailer up to ? The DRMO lady gave no details just "ground site only"..
Thanks
Thats Bigbee's old M275 with a fresh Clint B rattle can spruce it up paint job.. The M146 is a later CS find out of Indiana.. The M348 or "fungus trailer" we call it rofl is being retrofitted with a sand blasting unit.
Clint put a power press in the cab and straightened the hard top. Its not...
I downloaded the manuals and a big THANK YOU for the kitchen one exspecialy! I dont think I could have figured it out wihout braking something..
Working on the trailer pick up but lots of dead ends. The problem I now have is Chambersburg is a ground only facilaty. No way to get them on a...
If you look real close you can see the front end of Rattleheads 900 series between my M109 and 67beast's deuce on picture 007! How did we all miss taking pictures of it? Drool on the lense maybe? That was very impressive to see driving around. Can you say road trip Dave P? .. Hmmmm on the hunt!
Yes maddawg.. He had spacers on the hubs.. I think he machined them himself but not sure. I talked with the guy and was going to find out more but we were off to other subjects. Both of those M725's are running some very healthy sounding 454's with 400 turbo trans.. Very cool and nice work .
