Ha! I was looking at that deuce not too long ago and trying to figure how I could make it work. The base near me was selling some 96" shelters and I thought 2 would do well on an M36. Good luck with the project!

Just a thought, if you have a square hitch in the back: Cabela's sells this one, game hoist, holds ~400 lbs. Unless you need something substantially bigger, seems like easy set up/tear down for small jobs.

Update: Word from the company working on the injection pump is the fuel transfer pump is shot and unfixable ("impossible" was the word they used). However they've said it can easily be bypassed with an aftermarket pump. Might be able to pick it up in a few days...finally! Recently bought two...

The mechanic told me he pulled the fuel filters, cleaned them and fuel stopped at the pump.

The pump is full of seals, why wouldn't some of them fail through time and trials, it hardly seems unreasonable to me. I'd never use the word never when talking about any mechanical part... Thanks for that, might be a better option to go with. I'm not positive, because I only saw it once...
