They are an oil filled Hydraulic, one has a small leak and I have looked at this as a potential problem. On my 101's I found with or without a shock the trailer does not bounce. Love the 101's, hate the M1101 at the moment.
There is a place in Buford that has one as they discussed it with me when I got the new BFG's on the M1009. So that is a good suggestion and puts some more fact in my analysis of balancing being the end all of end alls. Thanks for the offer on the Shop!

No but if only a few people have this problem it would be worth the cost to go that route. I would guess that if they are out of round then that would show up quickly also when they try to balance them.
I hate that the M1102 bouncy thread closed :( My 1101 bounces all over and I have ran at 10 lbs to 50lbs trying to get the problem solved. I have talked to other owners who said they never experienced the problem. I did like the potential out of round suggestion but would be curious how many...
You our may not like my answer but the best thing is always to drive the conditions within the safe operating parameters of the conditions no matter what you drive. Outside of that if you want any traction in the prescribed conditions chains win hands down
