As I'm looking for an Eaton M45 BMW Mini Cooper Supercharger to fab onto Debs jeep engine - YOU have 364 days left - for two projects.:popcorn:
Here all along I thought I had a worse hangover than normal from new years eve - everything was in slow motion this morning and last night - what a relief. Great Job again Drew
Was that the dwarf we were tossing though the 1400x20 tire last year - finally had to put a helmet on him due to his complaining of bouncing off the tire - seems the smaller they are the louder they complain. Found out where I can lease a couple more dwarfs this year to the line to toss is not...
Uncle - ok per popular pm vote requesting I hold this game again I decided to pull the stakes out of the garage and get them cleaned up again for this game - ya'll happy now:
Welcome from over here in Lilburn - the Ga Mafia Eastern Probie area.
Keep your eye on the thread Zout Cookout coming up at the end of April - just follow the thread and it will answer any question you have. And yes that includes you.
Looks like you know what to do. Only my .02 cents worth but when you open that can of stuff you have and get it really stirried up without any reducing you might want to consider not reducing it any more - I have seen some really "thin" product and it did not feel right !!! Thinning it any more...
Just for what its worth.
If you have no paint on it now and you have some bare metal - I would 2K epoxy primer (that is made for first surface bare metal) it.
No fooling - I use Behr paint now after these folks on here made me want to try it and I have not been disappointed what so ever. Once...
If your paint is dry (looks like you have the vehicle inside).
I use the 3m trilock sanding system on my DA orbital sander - wet - you can dunk your da right into a bucket of water and keep the surface really wet. I would not sand any lower than 3000 grit. That is if your paint has sat for any...
Nope - not saying that at all. I believe your going to get extra UV protection with it on - especially down in FL. Sounds like you already know what your doing to prep the surface for the clear
and personally I would do it (have done it before on 3 vehicles)
You know what one of the products...
Hottrodd - it is looking very nice.
I have shot the Urethane Flat Clear over several paint jobs. One of the above mentioned brands I eventually wound up removing all the paint.
You really need a chemical compatable clear of whatever brand is underneath as your topcoat. It would be like mixing...
Well - got the lead out of my arse and at least got some stuff laid out and cleaned up. Have a couple small details to work out on the fab job before I hack into anything.
That is a 6x6 tube - the 8" receiver tube will be cut into the center of the big cross tube and through it - welded up on...
I guess I will only have to dream about going to Waffle House EH ?? Have a great trip and the boys are looking very big. Besides they have awesome parents
Those fellas ^^^^ up there pretty well covered the shut off issue. If you do wind up installing shut off valves remember the coolant in the core will just sit and therefore and most likely eventually rot it out - so open them up from time to time to circulate the coolant. Newer extended life...
Watching the build is like watching Twilight Zone - I am bored to death and your project is becconing to be completed. Just think - another YEAR (365 days) has gone by. Like watching paint dry.
Haven't done it yet - been thinking about it - have almost everything I need to do it - I have more time coming up to where I can do it - and that is get started on the hitch on the back of the M909.
Its suppose to rain here again Saturday and Sunday once again so hopefuly I can get the Jokers...
I have only met a smigeon of these folks and I have to tell you they are a mighty touch crowd to give a thumbs up on anything.
That being said - you already know what you have as a mission laid out in front of you - and I think you troopers can do a JUSTIFIED job to it.
FYI
