Next remove the two cowl screen bolts and the cowl screen. This will be a perfect time to clean all the debris that has collected in the wiper linkage area and under the cowl. As you can see mine was a mess.

After many years of looking, I finally got an M1009 as I’ve always wanted. Long story short I got this from SS user 48cj2a. Below are his mods since he’s had it.

I thought we could only push 7PSI max to the IP or seals will start to blow and or leaks will occur. From my understanding, the current fuel pump is rated at 4-7 PSI. This would be the best pump Facet 40285. Cost some coin but well worth it and very reliable.
Replace all the rubber fuel lines as well! Too bad, they don't make PTFE lines we could just pop on and forget about it. Maybe I'll design some and get a product going???!!!

Correct no rubber undercoating I've heard the horror stories online about the rust building under the rubber. Does anyone have a quart panel for sale:)?
