Former United States Marine Viet Nam Sniper and POW. Built and restored an M38A1 so he could participate in activities the SteelSoldiers members do. This was they day he came to view his jeep in the process of build. Also thanks to Doghead and PaPaBear and CAMO with no explanations.
Historic value of an 1963 M43B1 Ambulance with great aide of CAMO Columbus - this is also another vehicle I restored with help of the latter - so it can be remembered. Also pictures from of those that served in Viet Nam.
Historic value to not forget those who served in these vehicles:
A brought back to life 1955 M38A1 and pics of some that served in Viet Nam - these are a couple I have done.
Having only been in the MV world since 2009 I can only think of one thing that comes to mind immediately upon owning a former military truck - which has now turned into several.
I live in a Non membership sub divison - having owned the truck and neighbors seeing the truck and speaking to them...

Somewhere Clinto is to blame but I doubt he'll be responsible.
Reading this whole thread again - you know PT in some countries for the instigated perpetration actions leading to the repair of the server would get you landed in prision in other countries.
All the feely touching things you done...
Absolutely just have a cookout - it works. Just have some room for folks to park and meander around in.
Cookout stuff does not have to be extravagant either - just don't poison anyone.
From there you can choose to go whatever direction you wish (perferably after a couple years to get your...
I have the M43B1 Ambulance down there awaiting a DRIVER - if you can make it to display it - it would be an honor - come in your POV but come however you can - you will not believe how utterly fantastic this parade is from start to finish.
Some days have gone past to reflect on the Rally and even more with the site being down to keep most of this stuff out of your head.
That saying: At the rally the one person I always saw was Mike working his arse off helping Mike at the MKT - MIKE - you have my full respect and it was more fun...
Celebrating here Bro - great new - difficult task that was involved to get to this point and you have my full respect for hanging in there - I will say Georgia is NEXT on the Totem pole to change.
Flywheel was just in tolerance when turned.
Got it all together today - went to light a fire in it and the fuel tank was empty - not only empty but has been for some time and ya all know what that means - must have been letting it sit with barely any fuel in it because the fuel filter in line...
Deb and I will be in Joker Wild M909 there. Unless I hear otherwise from you we will not bring the van with the tow hitch on it.
That means Ron has to be at our DZ ready to rock & roll at no later than 4:30 am Saturday. No way am I missing breakfast and I know how his tape worm is and Deb will...
Got the RV cleaned out after the rally and measured up some metal to get onto building a rear hitch for it. Plates ordered up are 3/8th steel x 7 inches wide. The bottom crosstube will be 6x6 inches square and 3/8th thick as well.
I have several gusset pieces ordered to keep torsional twist out...

You need to make it to Columbus for the Veterans Day Parade Nov 9 with CAMO crew.
Entire route entails through Columbus and Phoenix City - you will not leave with a dry eye when you FIRST see the mobs of folks - truly outstanding.

Not as much as you fellas are doing but - towed Debs jeep to the rally - first time under full test of both septic holding tank systems - all GFI outlets on both sides of the truck working awesome - Onan Generator ran though it paces - 50 amp shoreline still hooked up and running awesome - all 7...
I fully agree SW - all week the weather has been P E R F E C T - PRICELESS. Lots of vendors here once again and my wallet magically popped open to get a few items to make the M909 look pretty. Going to replace one of its eyeballs this morning - got some clearnance lights to make a towbar - WM...
Looks like Thursday will be Left Front Steer tire changing day on the M909. Got rid of the RF steer before coming and that took care of a slit tire around a tread and loosing air pressure - coming down the Left Front wanted to dang near jump off the ground in a pull or when below 50 MPH. Tread...
