Nice work Cruz like the other said - saving a piece of history and it looks like your having a great time driving it around.
Tires look really nice on there as well. Great pictures.
Looking into the crystal ball last night - owner was sent to order up the remainder of the epoxy primer and his choice of color of paint this this 1964 1/2 Mustang #900
off the assembly line I have been working on after finishing a 1972 Chevelle in roughly 60 odd days. Mustang is on day 33 as...
I understand - do not take that the wrong way as I was not attempting or implying I
was trying to be a smart a** about you inquiring only - which was a great idea.
I suggested only as I am a fleet manager for a trucking co and I will fire someone on the spot if I ever see a can of starting...
We've all had a can to spray on a dirty part that was globbed with grease and oil right !
Carb Cleaner as well if you were out of brake cleaner.
When you sprayed in on that oily part - what did it do ? It breaks down the grease and oil chemical base
to where you can just wipe the part clean...
Sounds like someone cut the wamamba geebies outtta that 43.
From what I learned you would not ever want to fire up that original personel heater that came with it
ever. There is a fella in CAMO group that served on one and I believe him when he looked me in the eyes and
told me that baby was...
Squirting some light PB blaster on them turbo style exhaust clamp threads before twitching on this is good.
Its probably the seals in between the flanges that have burned out - unless the clamps have deterioated badly
I would reuse them and new seals - these are flanged exhaust pipes - I have...
Ron - PM me some info on this please - I will not add anything to your thread But I am interested especially if I can locate either the Ambulance or Debs jeep to come up there.
I know Gainesville well - use to drag race there in the Southern Nationals in the AHDRA - I never saw you in the crowd...
Turner - there was a fella that had had been sleeping in a hamock in the trees even before the Ga Rally started just so he did not miss it.
As far on a scale from 1-10 - this event is like 100 - it is the Greatest Show On Earth as Ringling Bro's use to say.
Come in your POV - no one cares
Just...
Hey Marine - help if we knew WHERE in Ga you are located !!
First order of business:
1. Place on calender April 27
2. Lookup Cookout at Zouts thread here (reason for looking up calender date)
3. Enter date on calender
4. Come have a great time (instructions are in the thread)
5. This will...
I am way South of Bufford to have you "swing by" - but after chow I bet I could put your arse to work with what I have going on.
Bring a Drooling Towel with you.
The 57 is not really that far from me is just down that way - and kinda kitty corner up a little that way - then just looks for...
Just throwing this out there - but I think the HEAT got to CARNAC already - its hotter than doggie popo out there in EL Paso - ever see a stone melt ?????
Works integrity has been a complete termoil latey and I have not even looked at camping this coming year with a new start on Vac time...
Really looks nice with a cookie blocking your view :burn:
Somehow I like the looks of that one in blue - go figure. Glad you got one and I am
sure it has the right home now.
Should make a great EGG hauler when your done.
Been trying to decide which of the 4 Grandsons I wanted to bring because I am not bringing all 5 of them.
So instead of bringing any (due to them whailing on me with a base ball bat when I sleep) I am coming alone.
Will be in the POV as I have as you mentioned above a committment in the garage...
Ditto on the above two visual aspects of this piece - I would insert a BAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH here
as someone's pulling the wood over our eyes and this 37 is going to be Prestine looking.
Even if the Sahara Desert blows a sand storm your way while your painting - that baby is looking...
FMJ - looks great. Might want to knock around and consider having an additional horizontal brace on each
end out by your wheels - nothing dramatic - just some additional leg support - still looks good.
Rhino - you need to check out and make plans to bring the family to my cookout here in Lilburn April 27th -
I have a thread going on it - Cookout at Zouts - great way to sit - chat - eat - talk and learn about MV's.
Some folks will be bringing theirs - some folks in their POV - it does not...
PB - that baby is looking sweet.
poppop - your paint bill would have been times 4 if the 37 was that big.
I am getting teased as I am hustling to get my grubby Northern CAMO hands on this baby
