I made a deal on a takeout transmission this afternoon and should pick it up this weekend. It may be a while before I'm able to swap the takeout transmission into my truck. I'm also thinking about a new clutch.
Howdy from the north side of Houston. My oldest son is currently in as a 0311.
Welcome to the site. I hope to see you on the roads around Houston sometime!
Well, I guess it's time for me to look in the transmission.
I got my M35A2 out for a short drive yesterday. Once on the main road, I started going up through the gears. Everything was fine until I hit 5th gear. At first, I heard the "metal 'clacking' sound" mentioned above. The clacking...
Last year (if I recall correctly) someone had a total break failure on their recovery trip. Going on memory, they purchased the truck from a dealer and had already driven it 3 hours on their way home when the breaks failed. It resulted in a bad accident and their Deuce finally came to a stop...
I, for one, am very relieved!!!! Seriously, I'll sleep good tonight. From the comments in this post, it appears that Coffey1 still has his truck. I had worked myself into a lather thinking that a mysterious, unnamed organization already took his truck!!!

Personnaly, I like the look of the headlight box. I also have a feeling that you will get better lighting with the box as opposed to pass through holes. Just my 2cents.
Battle Field Vegas is a cool place located just off the Strip. The business is owned by a SS member and there are a bunch of MVs on display.
You can search for a couple of threads related to Battle Field Vegas and the MVs on display.
Since talking about upcoming auctions is against the rules, I assume you are asking about past auctions. GP sold 3 M944A1 trucks during 2015.
