Registration of trailer in Texas Help

Someone please correct me if I misspeak... I believe the FMV registration is a one-time payment to the tax department ($50 or so) that is good for a 5-year registration. A regular trailer registration must be renewed annually.

Registration of trailer in Texas Help

I plan to register my newly acquired M105A2 as a FMV trailer in Texas. Per GL's rules, I took possession of the trailer and then submitted a request for the SF97 (including the $60 payment). Now I wait. As soon as the SF97 comes in, I will go down to the tax office to obtain a Texas title and...

    R.I.P.--TIGGER--Matthew Helms

Like others, I only knew Mathew through his posts on SS and, as such, have been reluctant to contribute to this thread. It has lifted my heart to read the stories and share in the pictures posted here by his friends. What a magnificent man and an inspiration to us all! I gladly change my...

    Oh YES you can....

You're right. It probably was a forklift, but I was really hoping that it was magic! A little presto-changeo and abracadabra would make for a great story to tell the folks around a rally camp fire!!

    Oh YES you can....

OK, I'll bite. How did you get the second trailer up there? Did GL assist with a forklift, or did you have another trick up your sleeve?

    Dog, Brush and an A3

It's good to see a truck in use and a puppy enjoying it! I have the same tires on my M35A2 and really like them too. However, I don't have a dog. My wife says (and I agree) that we need a fence before we get another dog. Time for a plan: 1) haul lumber with big green truck; 2) build fence; 3)...
