    Oh, I dont disagree that the voltage regulator will adjust to 480v, but the set was not designed for 480 L-L. I would also check your demo setup and see what 277 L-0 will do and if you motors are rated for it.

    You will not get 480v, you will get 416v. You can get 240v per leg x3, but with 3ph your voltage will be off 1/3, so leg to leg you only get 416, not 480

    If there is no coolant, take the hoses off and take them to a mom and pop parts store, or an independent big truck parts house NOT oreilley or freightliner. I have had very good luck finding green iron parts, but it helps to have it in hand to compare to off the shelf parts or to get measurements.

    You are correct that the front is different, but if we get the backs working, then we (me and the mouse in my pocket) only have to find gears for the front.

    It will run out to 2300, I dont like winding it that fast. Cant go 1600's, it would be too tall for the trailer, already too tall but just biding my time to change out the 1100's on trailer to 11r24.5's. I failed to look at the length on that spicer, 28" of driveshaft and 26" of aux gearbox...

    So we went on another run earlier this week, only for a refill and just rough math in my head AMi gets about 4mpg at 55-58 mph. Also 55 is a bit slow going to a fire. She has no problems tanker yanking full to the top of water, so another .81 od behind an aux should get the top speed at 2100rpm...

    Just looking at the photo of the batteries again, you might be able to turn that battery box 90* and put the driveshaft hump over the cross member

    Freightliner Columbia trucks have the batteries between the frame rails behind the cab/sleeper, might make the battery cable run a bit farther, but they would be out of the way and not in the cab. The only hiccup might be the big ol cross member that might be in the way
