I'm at the saturation limit Will. Three is nearly too many now. The 929A2 was a serious (dump) investment but seems to only had troop seats in it, so it's a keeper. I haven't got the guts or money to go to another model.
I crawled under and looked at the frame of the deuce and compared to...
I use hose, splitting the piece lengthwise and just long enough to fit the hole. For some areas I make strips of inner-tube and wrap layers. Also have some 3" hd electricians tape too. Or go to the hardware and buy a ready made grommet.
Last night I continued looking and found a good thread about Hundy using a section of the 105 frame from spring mount to spring mount. (I made a comment that I found it, including a link, but the comment is not posted here).
Anyway...I was asking about use of the 105 frame by cutting out a...
Chris, I looked at several threads with "Hundy" but didn't see anything specific to using the frame section. Maybe my research skills are slipping at late night. I'll try again. I have to go to the sawmill and retrieve the trailer, so don't have the torch in hand yet.
Wanting to remove one rear axle (not shorten frame aka bob however) and want to confirm some things.
I have a donor M105. I expect to use the shorter bed and fabricate toolbox to fill the space. I will remove the bumper-etts(??) to have the open pintle near to the rear axle and align the...
I worked moving a company that made hubs, from Tenn to Ohio, then managed it's start up. We were making the big 25,000 ag hubs (and down in size) and couldn't get the old (WW2 vintage) machinery to make consistent, within tolerance hubs, once moved. The one machine had (eight) chucks 18"...
Doesn't sound like a very bona fide threat of a lawsuit, considering some of the former threads of disgruntled customers. The retail trade has upped the price by cutting out the middle man, which has a cost of it's own, more disgruntled customers.
Shawn,
The reason that offering it to the second bidder is not a fair process is that you were a party in bidding it to that level. Maybe it would have stopped thousands of dollars less. Just getting it for $200 less than YOUR high winning bid is not the same as you not bidding in the first...
Sorry to see the condition is not as expected. I'm doing a similar project but started with a bent up M1101 and S788 Geithner. Please post info on the roof tent. I'm making sleeping inside for bad weather and top sleeping otherwise.
Yes, I see your point when offroading.
I'm thinking about having a plow and hitting areas of road that it doesnt slip. I want it to be fairly close on the revolutions per mile statistic. The 365 to 11.00 rev/mi (depending on make) is within 5 revolutions (around 470) in a mile or about 1%.
Man, 8 or more of them would drains ones piggy bank bigly!
But they sure are nice...would be great on my 929A2.
How do you plan on dealing with the stud diameter vs. wheel hole size?
PM if you located a great deal to share.
Hi BB. My goal is to make in the correct quantity H and CO with very low N to directly condense alcohols..or at least have the building blocks to do it. It's a combination of making wet producer gas and in a second stage, X flow reactor, put it through a bed of hot coals (dry...
Here is a potential spacer made from DOM tube. With longer stud, a spacer like it could be the gap filler, 1" to 9/16".
Pics of my rim project included which is similarly hub centered.
I would guess that duals would be close (or over) the legal limit. What would be their equal revs per...
