Once I got the "new" engine, it was time to star pulling good off of my OG engine and transferring it to the "donor" engine. I started with the head. I ordered a complete gasket kit as I wasn't sure what all I would be running into, and I didn't want to have to stop and wait for orders to come...

I covered the solenoid wiring for a non-MRAP install in my thread. The biggest issue is the solenoid in the power box. It's designed to be plugged into the power switch to enable power to the system. You can open the box and remove the solenoid and either hook it directly to the batteries...

MASSIVE update coming soon.... I've been down with an ACL replacement, so everything slowed down. To say the last 6 months have been.... educational.... is an understatement.

I've got to agree with @VPed I modified a M1061 and hauled a M715 behind my M923 and while certainly lookinging awesome, loading and unloading added stress to an otherwise enjoyable experience. I now use a tow bar and am MUCH less stressed.

I've put the 16s on my 923a2 without modification. I can't see that a wrecker is much different. 🤷

Sometimes it's the simplest thing. I had a similar issue with my M715. I had a misfire and couldn't lock it down. I finally decided to check the plug wires at the distributor and plugs 2 and 4 were swapped. Glad you found it and thanks for updating us!
