Should make a nice truck. What information did the previous owner provide when you bought it? Can he provide any history, such as the owner he bought it from?
You are correct. Facing the rear of the mobilizer control, on the upper right is a screw that has both ground wires attached. One ground wire goes into the wiring harness and on to somewhere else. The second ground wire, the short ~6 inch ground wire, exits out the left side of the mounting...
The hazard light switch is the turn signal switch, there is nothing to pull out. You simply move the arm up past the right turn position and the hazard lights come on. The cab hazard light is the same light as the light on the turn signal switch. It is very common that this light doesn't work...
It's good that you at least now have all six wheels airing up to the same level. You are making progress, so don't get discouraged. Are you certain that you don't have an air leak in the system somewhere such that the compressor can't keep up with the leak and the controller is trying...
One other thing to remember is that these trucks range from 25 - 30 years old and most have had minimal or no PM on the CTIS system either during active military use or subsequently. In addition, the M35A3 trucks were the first deuces to have CTIS so mechanics and drivers had no practical...
I think CM Automotive Systems is now out of business. It's too bad, because I've talked to them on the phone in the past and they were very helpful. They even sent me a brand new wheel valve at no cost when I told them it was for my ex-military M35A3. Try cleaning the wheel valve first and...
As HDN says, start with the TM. The CTIS on the A3 is a very simple system. Since 5 of the tires are at the same pressure, to me it sounds like you need to remove and clean the wheel valve on the 6th wheel. They are very simple to open up and clean.
Thanks for everything you do Clint! I finally made it back home at about 1700. Pulling that XM1061Eq trailer with my M35A3 and an M151A2 on the trailer is a bit much. Some hills I was actually down to 10 MPH. Twice I had to go to low range. But, it did work out. I had a very good time, as...
Just about ready to roll. I finally got my M151A2 loaded on my XM1961E1 trailer and hitched to my M35A3. The M151A2 is temporarily tied down on the trailer, so I still have to do a better job of securing it. I spent the last days installing my RT-524 radio, mounts, cables and antenna. All...
I just finished putting the top and side curtains on my M151A2 that I'm bringing to the Rally. What a pain. I also just finished installing an RT-524 radio and antenna. I still have to load it on my XM1061E1 trailer and load my M35A3. I'm still looking for a hill to back the trailer up...
Go fund me accounts charge a fee. I think it's much better to donate money directly so that 100% goes where we want it to go. I'll donate $100.00 at the event. I have attended most of the Georgia Rallys over the years and had a great time, every time. I have no problem helping out. Maybe we...
I'm bringing the following items to sell.
1. One 12-can case of Gillespie (AJP) spray paint that is virtually new, #30118 Field Drab Brown $10.00 per can or $100.00 per case.
2. One 12-can case of Gillespie (AJP) spray paint that is virtually new, #30277 Desert Sandust. $10.00 per can or...
Just completed digging quite a length of trench with the backhoe and everything was working perfectly. Until today when I started the engine to move the SEE to where I normally park it. The alternator isn't charging and the tachometer isn't reading. I imagine the tachometer is driven by the...
