You need to put the trans in gear to engage it.Then put in nuetral to operate it.

The m931 is way underpowered.I would go with a m916.

My son Jason,Just put m1008 rears in his m1009.And then did the rear disc conversion.He is happy with it..

You wont be happy at all moving equipment with either trucks.They are way underpowered for that.I have tried it all with these trucks.I just moved up to a m916a1 to haul my equipment.Very happy with it.

I prefer the m929 over the m817.I like full air brakes,flip up hood,wider cab,allison auto is nice.The m817 looks tougher.

Beds are the same...As postman said.I have both trucks.

Ive bobbed a few M939 5 tons.Spin the brake cans a little.and repipe the air lines.Works fine.

I prefer the m939 series..

Yes,20 ton with no issues.Over the past 15 years I put together 4 trucks with 14' dump bodies.These trucks are way under rated for there weight capacities.
