Thanks for the Heads up.
When I used the starting fluid with Ether, the engine was warm.
The wait light didnt come on, so I am assuming the glow plugs did not come on.
When the engine is cold, glow plus come on and it starts fine.
I have not been able to duplicate the starting problem yet...
Here are larger pics.
Truck is for Offroad use only.
Both wheels turned the same way when I jacked up the front and manually turned a tire.
This means the front has the Detroit locker, Correct?
After the truck has been started and warmed up and then you shut it off and let it sit for about 1/2 hour , it will not start unless you give it a shot of starting fluid.
When the engine has set the 1/2 hour, and is still warm, the "wait" light does not come on.
Anyone have any suggestions or...

I am having a truck sandblasted and was going to use POR15 on the axle and frame. Now I am considering just using the 2part epoxy primer(recommended under CARC) by Sherwin Williams on the frame, axles and body. Then Painting everything CARC.

Bought a nice Medium tow bar, with tow bar ends and tow straps (the ones with the double chains).Had all the correct pins with lanyards. Paid $300. Best of all no shipping. This thing is heavy.
Was this a fair price on this ?

I am installing a locker in the front. I havent figured out how to remove the axles. Please lmk how you do this? :?: I have taken wheel, hub, and bearing nut OFF.
The back axles and locker went pretty good.
Thanks
Chris
Chris,
I have a couple, but there are people walking in front of the vehicles, dont think they will be good unless someone is really good at editing them.
Carc shirt would be my vote. Maybe we should plan on getting a good group shot of the vehicles this year, for the shirt next year , if freds picture of the trucks is to small or is not acceptable. I like freds pic though.
I am going to have wheels made by stazworks for an m715 with rockwells.
I would like to have them to be interchangeable with my deuce, should I go with the singles on it.
Optimum for the M715 will be 10 x20 with a 6" backspacing.
Will this size fit the deuce without problem?
Thanks
Chris
