If you ever have the outriggers down on both trucks would you mind comparing the adjustment screws on them? I know the outriggers are different but the screws look to be of a similar design. 2 of my m108 outriggers are missing a few parts.

The frames I have are all for the TEMPER tents. Same design as the 16x16 expandable but the arches are taller (temper tents are 16x20). The headers and purlins are the same, not sure how difficult it would be to shorten the arches up to work on the 16x16.

Welcome to the site. Looks like a stainless m149a2 buffalo, the m107 is much older. The brakes will roll free if there is no air in the tank. You’ll want a pintle hook, some chains to extend the safety chains (they’re often too short depending on the hitch), and you’ll want some magnetic lights...

I wasn’t able to find any of those, just the mustache and short springs.

I didn’t really want to spend any money on this project yet but I figured I’d better buy the crane specific parts when I had the chance. An F600 with an m108 bed came up for sale and I was able to get it. The crane was installed when the truck was new, and I guess it was on another civilian...

That’s a very generous offer, but I’ll probably end up getting something in the Northeast eventually. I think I’ll try to find an m35 parts truck since I could use the axles too.

Nice CUCV II, my old gasser Tahoe was converted to 12 volt only as well. I installed a factory center console from my local junkyard in mine.

I believe right around 1966 was the last year for the reversible headlight panels and low headlights on non winch trucks. Unlike the later trucks with the rubber isolators on the headlight buckets the gassers and early multifuels had rubber isolators on the mounting panel which can be rotated...

You should buy the other m108 in that yard and they can go on the same truck to my place.:whistle: It's a project but not as big a project as mine! I'm not sure yet what will happen as far as the engine but I'll keep that in mind. I have a set of almost mint gasser fenders and an NOS gasser...
