Its alot of work,I have done it quite a few times.I just put a winch on my M35a3,It took about 2 days to remove it and reinstall it.Its alot more work with a hyd winch.All the air lines,hyd lines and hyd pump and mounting bolts.

My son just put a 6" lift and 35" tires on his M1009.

I know of a contractor at Aberdeen Proving Ground getting paid to cut up hmmwvs with a shear on a excavator.That pisses me off when I am trying to build one .I would love to get my hands on some of the parts.
