The clicking will slow when fuel pressure builds. Do the same thing with battle short on. If it still looses 24v than we need to look into the controls

Lets try this. Were going to see if the controls are shutting it off or if it is starving for fuel. Meter the electrical connection point at the top of the fuel injection pump. If it stalls and there is still 24v, its not getting fuel.

Thermalwatt converter should be only instrumtation. With the set in run(doesnt have to be running) and battle short on do you hear the pumps clicking? And if so how fast?

as soon as you place the set in run the low oil light will light (no pressure) when it starts push the test/reset switch to reset and release. that should shut that light off.
The gauge and oil pressure switch are separate. Personally I dont trust the gauges that much.
as soon as the engine is running, turn on the battle short (s7) if it keeps running then it narrows the problem down to a handful of things. make sure you have actual oil pressure before doing...
What transducer did you replace? did it work before you replaced it? When it runs for 10 seconds is that after you release the start switch?
If memory serves there are only 4 things that will stop the engine automatically, overspeed, high water temp, low oil pressure, and overvolt.
Since I installed the 004 we havent had a power outage longer than an hour. Utility has replaced alot of repairs in my area (apparently calling them every hour does get results). We call it my hurricane repellent.

Small filter is a water separator. That can be cleaned. 2 big cans are the lead and lag fuel filter. The can in the block is the speed switch. It needs to be connected to run, it disables the starter above starting rpm, enables the field flash, and acts as an overspeed shutdown.
Having gas is...
I have never removed the tank, i believe it can be removed without too much disassembly though. The TMs should specify.
Fuel consumption depends on load. A quick and rough estimate is 1gallon an hour. Since i installed my 004, we haven't had a significant outage so i dont have the data to...
51004
There are a few things that can prevent it from making power. Get the engine going first and then we can troubleshoot the electricals.

Filters: wix oil 51004
Fuel wix 33512 10 micron 33540 6 micron. I usually use a 10 for the first filter and 6 for the 2nd.
I use my 004 as a whole house stand by and did the single phase conversion. Highest ive run is 72 amps.
Now for your set. Has it ever worked for you? What is it doing/...
It looks like a cap from a metal halide ballast. what is it wired to? if the resistor is paralleled to the cap the resistor is a bleed off it slowly drains the cap when there is no power applied
Ah so the your machine is already modified?
Circled M is a meter Volts is directly reading the output voltage
amps is reading the induced field for amperage through CT1 and CT2
CT 1&2 are transformers, they are taking the high current and making it...
Should already be setup for single phase 120/240. Is your avr bad? And what part of the drawing do you need explained?

Congrats on venturing into the mysterious world of injection pumps.
Lifting can be a bit wonkey, my 003 came off the transport trailer partially by sliding, tilting and the assistance of an engine hoist. bout a month later it ended up on a new trailer, engine hoist and hand winch...
