Traded a bobbed deuce for a Blazer and now sinking a ton of money into the Blazer......:-?
I am a little confused? I would thing the deuce would have been worth double the Blazer from the start.
GE, Speaking from the neutral side of the fence I have to say that a lot of your posts are rather opinionated also. "my way or no way" type of posts. I think it just goes with the personalities that we have here. A lot of ex and current military with very strong opinions. Maddawg is a good guy...
Just keep in mind that you are putting a turbo from an engine with 18:1 compression onto an engine with 23:1 compression. Just saying. There is a reason they lowered the compression for the turbo engines.

You say it was a fire truck, I have seen a lot of blown rears in off road fire trucks due to the weight of a water tank and an inexperienced driver shifting into all wheel drive before leaving the pavement. Then turning on the pavement, something has to give. Usually it is an axle but I have...
And yes, CARC paint is very hazardous to remove. Lots of heavy metals and other nasty stuff in it. I don't have any safe and legal removal suggestions.

Let's see some pics! Especially Sunday evenings recovery. I saw a lot of cameras out so I know the pictures are out there. I slacked off this year and forgot my camera everywhere I went so I have nothing to offer this year. I did take it to the dinner but my hands were full the whole time I was...

Good to have you back Don, It was just too quiet without you there to start trouble.:D
Thanks Laura.
I am having doubts about my trailer handling the trip. With all that has gone wrong I think Murphy has camped out in my back yard and is already packed for the trip. I could rent a trailer but...
I am really having second thoughts about about my trailer. Anyone in the immediate NJ area have a heavy duty car hauler or equipment trailer I could rent or borrow for the trip? Need to know ASAP since I am leaving Thursday morning.

Just a suggestion. Now that the emergency is over you might want to delete or close the thread. I don't know about others but I automatically go right to a post that say "Emergency" in it. I would rather not waste time if it is already a done deal and everyone has seen the good deeds that were...
In post #12 we have this guys e-mail, we could all flood his e-mail on behalf of the buyer. A couple hundred e-mails a day should clog things up enough that maybe he will reconsider and send the mans money back. Go to his E-bay site and flood the sales with questions, basically harass him til he...
You know, I have been preaching tolerance here and telling people to give you a chance but you just keep throwing out teasers. You are really going to get people against you if you are not careful here. If you do not want to give out your ideas that is fine but stop with the teases. Just be...
