    M816 wrecker- why trans cover off?

    I had a m813 about 10 years ago,I had the same problem. We pulled the oil pan, and removed the piston ,and replaced 1 liner. The truck ran perfect after that.

    Thats what I did, Also I took a punch and welded a handle on it. That was the ticket.

    I just bobbed my deuce,used 105 springs with a 4" lift block. Truck sits fine.
