All of my blinker stopped working all at once today. Light works on indicator lever (lights up, but does not blink), but none of the lights outside work. Replaced indicator lever and it's still not working. Using mil spec bulbs all the way around. 1996 M1097 HMMWV.
Thank you for the reply. 2002 1123 with 200amp gen, three toggle arm light switch. Truck still starts and runs and gen is charging. Lol...I have actually been on the receiving end of a push button light switch fire. It was like a fireworks show, but the rest of the 1097 survived.
Got a call this morning that a client had accidentally reversed the batteries. The glow plug unit was not damaged and it still starts, but none of the lights work. Before I make the 100+ miles round trip to diagnose and repair the problem, what can I expect the damage to be? I am taking another...
As I previously said, the knob on the end does not turn period. Not at all. It does not move in either direction with or without tention on the brake arm. The long piece that is usually attatched to the knob (goes down through the center of the brake arm) and adjusts the tention on the brake arm...

M1156 Newly acquired - Rear wheels make a noise only when turning like they are in a bind. Checked both hubs and they are fine. Has anyone else experienced this before? Thank you.
Yes sir. I am actually thankful to doghead for his post and I used his link to find the info on an item (although it took me a few hours to figure out how to cross reference the TM info). This isn't my feed and I did not ask for help on it. But the general consensus on this forum and on all...
Thank you! I actually bought 2 matching sets on Ebay this morning. I understand and appreciate the fact that it would be helpful for us to read and learn the TM's, but then it kinda defeats the purpose of forums like this as a majority of the threads involve working on vehicles and are in...
Lol...they had the belt at Eastern Surplus for $49.50 ($54.80 after taxes) and the shipping was $35.00! So $90 for a belt we found at Oreilly's for $19.95!
So I am a little confused. It seems there's four different belts for m1123's. There's two belts for the pre serial# 180,000 (one non-a/c, and a longer one for one with an a/c), and two for post 180,000 serial number 1123's (one for non-a/c and one for a/c). I just got a 2000 1123 ser#...
