The tm steps work perfectly. We thought the ppv was bad on a friends truck. followed the tm and it ended up tracing it back to a broken flare fitting. I beleive the first step in the tm is to test the gauge to make sure it is reading properly.
mine is insured under allstate as model-military truck. color-green. solid carc here. They did have to search for a few minutes to bring up the vin but they said that the first few digits let them know it was a mil. vehicle.
Ive had a few that were tight. I put a 10' chain around the lunette and other ends around my recovery hooks. drove off at 10mph and give it a good jerk. works every time!
I'll have to check the title as it was already a titled truck when I bought it. I read the info from the door plate, so there is a good chance it was a misread on my part, thanks for the info.
Parsippany NJ has a nice 5 ton they recently got for rescues. Maybe contact them for their maintenance and upgrades.
