One truck might be out. I just did an oil change drain the fluid and my thrust bearing for my crankshaft came out with the oil.

I don't mind spending the money on good fluid if it will help smooth the shifting a little. I understand if the transmission is on its way out no fluid is gonna bring it back but if I can lube it up I can get it to shift a bit easier then it will prevent any more damage

One of the most useful things I have seen for mounting a vice for use on a vehicle is to mount it to a plate welded to a piece of 2" square stock. Slides into a receiver hitch. This make one vise for multiple trucks. And you can weld a 2" hitch into the front bumper or anywhere else you need.
