    I would reconnect it at least to keep it venting and keep dirt and water out . when working on my trucks I keep the floor clean and a rag over the master cylinder to keep something from falling in .

    This GMC I bought a few years a go in case I had to use the bell housing and transfer case in a m211 .I did not use any parts and don't need it now . I thought I would post the pictures of the bob job .

    If I where to build a trailer to put behind a 2 1/2 ton or a 5 ton I would buy a civilian axle or axles and suspension with air brakes . The two trailers I have m269 with air brakes with out maxi brake and m131a5c with air over hydraulic . these are fine when maintained for a slow moving...

    Has anybody bobbed 818 but kept the 5th wheel

    I have thought of removing one rear axle from my m52a2 . and keeping the frame the some length . with my wrecker winch on the back I can only pull trailers with narrow fronts . the main reason is I would lose one axle worth of brakes .

    The REB shifter you don't have a high reverse only a low . on the high side you have 4 speeds and on the lowside you have 4 speeds when you shift between gears keep your foot on the gas peddle . first gear on the REB is all the way forward .

    This Fan is mounted in my m211 tractor it works best when moving slow or stopped .

    Jones method works real easy . rivets holes are not very smooth most of them look punched in the frame and not drilled . the rivet fills the uneven space

    no data plates. On the hood I found the letters USN and USA .The gun ring was over the cab this was a open cab truck the owner built the cab that is on the truck . he used it to pull a lowboy trailer to move heavy equipment . I don't know where he bought it .
