the m221 has the short tall fuel tank and this truck looks like thats what it has I would say its a m221 . this truck would be easy to drive around town and park . when going to dinner with the spouse . no bed to block your view and a little shorter then a m211 .

RE: Re: RE: Re: M35 turn signals not flashing correctly
I have had the newer style flashers fail ( wide ) the older( thin) ones have worked better for me . when turn signals act up I have learned to start with the flasher .
RE: What
my 53 gmc set for about 18 years the fuel tank was junk along with the in tank pump I used a small tank to hold gas and put it on the cab to gravity gas to the carb but it bid start and run well enough that I new it was worth saving . lots of parts out there for these trucks
I worked on my gmc for 3 to 4 years . and have almost 7000 miles on it now . I bought two parts trucks and about 12 grand in it . part of that was 12 new tires rebuilt transmission . all new brake parts . new canvas . and lots of time . it's a good truck and it was worth it .
RE: M109A3 Height Clearance
I think most states are mow at 14 feet 6 inches for height but not sure ? I have checked the height if wires by using a fiber glass pole or a pvc pipe with a bicycle safety flag and checked the wires before hualing the load .
the numbers to watch are gross vehicle ? The weight on each set of axles ( steering -drivers- trailer ) and how much weight the truck is registered to carry . the weight laws vary from state to state .
going between Colorado and New Mexico . Colorado I untuck my shirt and NM I tuck it in till I go in to a store then I tuck it in not hard to remmber . before you could not carry concealed in a place that sales liquor now you can . you can't carry any place that serves liquor . thats in New...
my m-211 would start fine but like yours when warmed up it would not want to start or the starter would turn slow . I though it was fuel leaking past the float and flooding the motor . turned out that it was the starter .kenny

RE: cost
there are lots of good new parts out there for this truck . I spent 3 years and about $10,000 on my 1953 GMC that I'm very happy with it runs great just went over 7000 miles . kenny
