Congrats on what looks like a very NICE setup, I can tell by the pics that you have a lot of engineering and fab work into this setup please keep us posted on how it works in the actual crappy white stuff, if it works half as good as it looks it should be great!
Nice work setting this one up!

Ray thanks much for your input on this for right now I have the main power connector (black one) disconnected from the back of the gauge, that took care of the bouncing MPH needle, I have not driven the truck since I did that so I really dont know what is going to work and what is not working...
Thanks guys do you know of any TMs that would show me how to troubleshoot the tachograph to see if it is in fact the problem? And if it IS the problem is this something that would be fixable or is the just a replacement item? As always any info is more!
than I have right now!
thanks again

Hello Guys and yes I have gone through enough TMs to just about make my eyes bleed on this issue, I now ask for your ideas please! I have a 1980 M920 and when I had it delivered last Wed. it was very cold and the batteries were weak, so of course it would not start, in fact it could just bump...
When I ran my first Deuce in the winter I over time came up with a list of MUST HAVES to make it work reliably! Number one on the list is a BLOCK HEATER, the flame starters and great but only reliable down to about 10 degrees Number 2 on the list is a winter front, no this is NOT an optional...
Insulating the battery box will do nothing to help your starting situation, if you put a heated pad under the battery then insulate it that would be a good start! But if you put a small charger on the battery and you had a block heater on the engine you would then be GOLDEN! Block heaters are...
Mac53 you have a Pinz and m-37 and now an M-38A1, Congrats I think your fleet is pretty darned neat! The M-38 looks like it certainly has lots of potential, I have seen some really beautiful restos on these over the years, I am sorry I dont know much about Jeeps but I do see Ad after Ad in the...
Thanks for your help guys the truck is supposed to arrive at my location around 11:00 tomorrow morning, and its supposed to get down to 3 degrees tonight, I dont like to use ether but in this case I have pretty limited options. I will be using my 925A1 to supply air to the truck and we shall...
I watched it and it was SO SO at best, I didnt ever know that the A3 had a GIANT CAT engine, and these trucks can go through ANYTHING without even slowing down, then when they were trying to get it to slide sideways out in a field I had seen enough! They did bob it and what he was talking...
Hey guys I am sure this is a stupid question but the only answer I could find in the TMs was to cage the brakes, I am looking for an easier way. I am taking delivery of an M920 and since its so cold here there is a possibility of the engine not starting, and if that is the case that means NO...
Making a Deuce more of a utility vehicle? If the LDT engine is in decent shape its a very good engine, spin on filters certainly help with Maintenance, higher cruising speed? changing engines, changing transmissions, improving fuel economy (WHY they are already very economical) how about...
Hey guys thanks for the info, can you explain to me in a little more depth what I can expect to have to do to the steer axle to make this work? Jeremy did the person your referring to actually put different sized wheels on the front axle to help clearance issues? JRacing thanks also about...
Hey folks much more knowledgeable than I, I have a question about putting singles on a 920 tractor, I would like to remove all the duals on all 4 axles and put singles on the truck, is the bolt pattern on the 920 the same as it is on my 925A1? I picked up combat rims and a set of Goodyear tires...
I have had good luck with Interstate batteries, I run 6TL batts in both Deuces my Unimog and the 5 ton its been over 6 years now and have yet to replace one, and I live in ND.
I have NO complaints

I have always thought the Praga was one very capable vehicle, they are small but their abilities seem pretty outrageous when you see how small they are, Good luck and that is a great looking truck!

Thanks suprman I found that one also and sent and email to the owner looking for more pics, like I said before the blades/plow mean nothing to me I would end up selling them or if that did not work scrapping them, but thanks again Suprman the lead is appreciated
