I don't know if it is worth the gain but i have heard that putting a electric fan on and taking off the mechanical one will give you about 1-2 miles per gallon better. I don't know if this is true but it makes sense, less that the engine needs to turn
First check the fuse, it is a 30 amp. this happened to me when the fuse didn't have a good connection and no power got to my lights. i would turn the switch on then wiggle that fuse and i bet they come on. then check ALL grounds, then check to make sure the switch is working.
I would say that the window regulator is shot, but i have not had many problems with the back window, as i found mine off of a civilian truck that has a power rear window, if you find one at a junk yard i would recommend it.
I have had the AC60G's, and they have been in my M1009 for 1 year and 3 or 4 months and i just checked them the other day and not a single one was bad or swollen. I would HIGHLY recommend the AC60G's over any other brand, I have had the welmans and i will NEVER buy them again
This is a common misconception this engine was made to be a diesel, by a company famous for diesels. a lot of people thing that it is a 350 bored out and turned diesel, BUT THIS IS FALSE, the first diesels that were produced by Chevy were a Oldsmobile 350 bored and turned diesel but they were...
The TH-400 is a very strong trans it has been used by Ferrari, Jaguar, Jeep, and even Rolls-Royce, and Bentley Used this transmission for a while. A Cummings 4bt would not wreck this trans
I agree 100% When i bought my truck it had the wellmen plugs and 5 of 8 were swollen and were a b***h to remove i will never buy them again, i have also read that there "not subposed to swell up" but they do, With the AC60g you have to change the connector as the spade connector on the plugs are...
I was asked to do a write up about how to swap in a electric fuel pump, so here it goes.
I was having problems with the fuel draining back down the fuel line when the vehicle was left on a flat ground or when the front of the vehicle was higher than the back. To help when cold starting in the...
I put the water temp gauge where the voltmeter goes, the voltmeter wasn't working anyway, the sensor goes on the drivers side below the heads there is a picture where it goes if you remove that sensor your idiot light wont turn on, as for the oil pressure gauge i put that next to the water...
I had a electric fuel pump installed, solved my problem with the fuel drains back down the line, i would recommend installing one it solves ALOT of problems with the mechanical fuel pump letting fuel drain back and causing the vehicle to be hard to start.
