yes I agree, that's why I am going to have him take a picture or show me the bearings and the old 1 and have him explain to me why my transmission has an imput shaft seal and no 1 elses does chances are if he thinks it was leaking because of the seal he will fill it to high anyway and will see...

Yes yes i realize what you and others are saying. But all i can do at this point is see what he says when he installs the seal... If there is not supposed to be one he wont have a way to install one.... Right? It will be done in couple days.

I have heard from many people said there is no seal on the input shaft yet my mechanic ( he use to own and maintain a 5 ton wrecker) ordered a replacement, how is that possible??? I took my duce to him to have the clutch replaced and he noticed the clutch oil soaked.

Well I guess this is irrelevant now as I do not have a transmission problem I just have an input shaft seal I need to replace because it is blown

thatnks!! as you are standing across from the tanks on drivers side is it the tank closest to you or the one between the frame rail and the other tank? sorry i dont have the truck here to look ataua

I STRONGLY disagreefat lady sings changing the steering wheel/ shortening the column, lets you raise the seat higher giving you MORE room for longer legs (if you have a springer or air ride seat as I do) my air rider has many adjustments and works best with up/ down travel
